Ms. Choi had double eyelids, but the line was very blurry and she had uneven eyes, causing a lot of stress. After the first nose surgery, she decided to have a revision surgery because her nose looked longer and had a blunt tip.
Through her uneven eyes were corrected and her double eyelid line was clearly defined. She also wanted to transform her eyes to look bigger overall.
The nose may appear longer after surgery due to weakened cartilage in the nasal tip and a short nasal septum, resulting in a loss of support over time. To address this issue, the surgeon may opt to extend the nasal septum or reinforce it with cartilage grafts to lift the nose tip. If ear cartilage was utilized and led to lengthening, the surgeon might consider utilizing either the patient’s own rib cartilage or donated rib cartilage to provide more substantial support.
